Use a duct booster fan if your system needs a little extra boost.  Duct booster fans are easier to install and less expensive than a major rework of your duct system.

This duct booster fan has been engineered for maximum boost, as well as quiet operation. This booster fan has a thermally protected motor. The DB212 12 inch duct booster fan includes a cord.

For maximum performance, the best location to install this duct booster fan is 6 to 10 feet from the register that needs the boost. Free air CFM is the amount of airflow the fan can produce on its own,  Boosted CFM is the amount of air that can flow through the fan before it begins to impede the airflow.
